How Low Can We Go

We are talking crispy here in the Northeastern parts.... Can you imagine -31*F ..... Oh yeah, that is what we woke up to, we even made it on the weather channel.

Had to go out and run a few errands earlier, and the temps are already plunging we are at 7*F so we'll see what happens.

My poor horses couldn't even leave the barn. Their buckets had to be heated up 3 times today as they kept freezing. They got plenty of hay to eat though, so not all bad....

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and staying warm.

Blessings,
Mel

Yes I can...we live where we get that lots. It's going down to -36C here tonight, almost the same in F. Suppose to be cold for the next week. Hugs

Oh my gosh-that is way too cold. So sorry as I know how hard it is to keep that water going in low temps but nothing like that. You stay warm and hope all the critters do too :)

Hello all,

We survived those awful cold temperatures... horses went out today, chickens had the option to however, chose to stay in.

On days like that, I just hibernate inside, watch a movie under a blanket. Only go outside to check on all the animals and tend to their needs.

Hope, that you are all staying dry and warm.

Hugs, Mel

Bless your heart, Mel! We had that cold here last week- the only ones who didn't seem to mind were the sheep in their thick wool sweaters.
Stay warm, dear friend!
