It's here~ just the box, I've been waiting for....

Today, as I look over my purchases from Wally~Marts, I hear the gravel in the driveway crunching under car tires, then there was the honking of a cars horn. I couldn't open the door, I had two labs inside going crazy, (they like to jump on cars) so felt it best if the maildelivery person just leave it on the porch. That she did.....

There you see Dunkin investigating who was on his turf...

Would you look at this box; it's filled to the top with all kinds of wrapped treasures from Linda over at Parker'sParadise.

I cannot wait to start unpacking, oh golly, this feels like my birthday or something...
Look, this is the first thing I found, all neatly wrapped, with a fabric bow, cinnamon stick and I'm pretty sure a sprig of Sweet Annie. The Sweet Annie, is a gift all by itself, I used to have a huge spot of it in my garden at our last house. Didn't think to bring any seeds with me when I relocated... I've asked permission to plant the seeds here in a garden. Oh, I smell it already! My mom will be tickled, when I share the good news with her. These spoons are wonderful, I soooo Love the colors and the fact that each spoon is a different shape.

Next item I came to was......

This little blue recipe box, inside it was packed with even more gifts, I'm dancing as happy dance, because there's a snowman inside............ Really, I shall not tell a lie......

Oh people, I wish you could be here....... This stuff smells so good..... I want to eat it........ All of it smells like baked goods, smells of spicest and everything nicest.

Wait, There's more.............................

Yes, this little blue spoon and the cinnamon & spice pies were wrapped individually, however, the smells were making my tummy growl, so I must have skipped a few pictures...... OOPps...

There is also a long wooden green spoon box....... a pumpkin towel...... cookie cutter...... and a black board with "Primatives" stenciled on it...
That's so ironic..... I had stopped by a mennonite country store on my way to Wal~Mart and bought a pumpkin today, was going to whip up some pumpkin muffins and preserve the rest for our holiday pies.
At the grocery store on Sunday, I had searched for canned pumpkin, then we ran into a stocker and asked if they could help us find it....... to our amazement, we were told; "we haven't had canned pumpkin for a few years now, due to a heavy frost killing off alot of the produce" and what they get in is on backorder and very difficult to get................... I had no idea!

I am delighted, to have won such wonderful gifts, Thank you a million times over my friend for inviting me over to sign up for the drawing. Each item will have a special place, a place where I can see it from anywhere in my kitchen. God Bless your big kind heart....... Hugs to ya my friend.

Now, I'd like to show you all what I found out at Wally~ Mart today. I have been wanting to make some more aprons, one is needed for collecting the eggs from the chicken coop. My intent was, to pick up some fabric that would blend well with what I had here at the house..... That, I did.... But, I also found and bought this .......

A kit for an apron, until today, I did not have anything blue in my kitchen area, but now....... the new gifts have given me a blue recipe box, and blue spoon/s...... Then again, I first have to figure out how to sew it..... God Help Me........ I cannot even sew a straight line, so will depend on my super duper sewing machine and it's special foot to help me out.

Here the fabric is laid out, and you can see, all I have to do it cut out each shape, then sew......

Wish me luck.........................

I must get off here and find something for dinner, Hubby will be home Reeeeaaallll soon.....
