The Truck Is Warm~ It's Just Cold Outside...

With temps only in the single digits, my idea was to stay warm and cozy in the house.

Hubby, had other ideas; stating we needed to take a trip to town for chicken feed. So, here Grand D & I sit in the truck outside the feed store. This is our little country store, where we go to purchase all our critters food supplies

As Grand D & I sit in the warm cab of the truck, I decide to share a snowy scene with a few of you. It has been snowing here nearly everyday for a little over a week. Not the heavy stuff (thank goodness) just flurries adding up to about 12 -13 inches.

Gottcha honey! Just hopping back into the truck, I sneak a snapshot of my favorite man.

Then, another of our Grand D, who we sometimes call our fashion diva. She knew to dress warm today.

Hubby surprised us all, when he took us to...

You guessed it; The Texas Road House, for lunch. We all had chicken critters, a salad, and those warm sweet buns they give you with the cinnamon butter.
Now, I don't know about you guys, but I could eat those all by myself. LOL

Not without consequences... I know!

After we had lunch, we headed back over the hill for home. Still so cold today, hubby built us a fire in the fireplace and here we sit all warm and snuggly.

What have you all been doing? Is it as cold where you live, how about snow? I'll send you some if you want...

Have a glorious weekend

Although today was somewhat warm, it's been cold and wet here. No snow for us yet this winter. I am patiently waiting....but I get to enjoy looking at everyone else's.

Have a Blessed New Year!

Sounds like a nice trip to town. We've had some really cold weather however today has warmed up nicely with the promise of rain. Not good at this time of the year. Hugs
