Colin~ This is for you buddy!

This is April, the alpha mare, I have spoken to her about manners, that ladies should never stuff their mouth, and never talk with a mouth full of food, she is only 17 years old, sure hope she figures it out, soon. Almost looks like she is having accupuncture done...

Look at those eyes, for all you horse owners out there, you have to admit, Sweet Sierra has the most soft and loving eyes for a wild mustang. She is trained, we adopted her 12 years ago, she is a wonderful horse. Have you any apples in those pockets?

My baby, Scout, notice in this pictures he is so relaxed he has his eyes closed. Then, look real close, he is undergoing a session of accupuncture, I'm not sure If I had pins all over me that I would be this comfy. Perhaps, he is dreaming of long warm sunny summer days...
We are so lucky to be able to share our barn with these guys, they are all spoiled, Sierra & Scout love attention, they enjoy getting brushed, or just having you close by. April is our prissy horse, she likes to have you in her stall, but would prefer you not muss up her hair. She has a weird habit of when your mucking her stall, if she's in it, she will crowd you and loves to be scratched with the future fork. Sierra will crowd the chickens as they struggle to stay perched as if asking them to rub her cheek. Poor "Dottie" had all she could do yesterday to keep both feet on her perch when Sierra was doing just that, trying to get a little chicken scratch. Scout, well he likes you to scratch his ears, inside and out. Tis odd for a horse to want someone to stick their fingers in the ear, but he loves this, his eyes surely tell you this as you're scratching his eye lids flicker. Now who wants to go riding?
