Frugal or just plain ole cheap, you be the judge!
I think, I have mentioned to some of you, the death of my old vaccum, the day after Christmas... After hours, days, and a month of mulling over what to replace it with, I decided that since this last vaccum only lasteda few yrs. I wasn't going to invest $200 dollars into another vaccum. I really do not like the bagless versions ( due to asthma related issues) however, have you noticed, trying to find a vaccum that has paper bags? There none existant! My thought is (on the bagless cleaners) why on earth do you have a dozen filters on a vaccum, when you go to dump out the debris; where does all the dust and hair go? Flying around in the air, up your nose, and into your lungs, before dropping into the trash, so what's the point of all those filters? I didn't have any luck finding a bagged vaccum, so settled for this $40 cleaner.
Not only did I save money, I saved the attachments from the old cleaner because it had this upholstery brush (which works wonders on my microfiber sofa) as well as our easy chairs and under the furniture. I saved the long tubes for the small floor end (which works nice up the wooden stairs, and in the guest bathroom with hardwood floors). The only thing was I was faced with a dilemma; the new vaccum tools had a notch in the side, all of the new attachments had little pins that locked them onto all it's attachments. The old vaccum's attachments did not have the same...
Moral to this story is; "think twice before you toss out all those old attachments" you too can be frugal, just like me...
