Take A Picture... It Will Last Longer

How many times, have you heard this expression, " Take A Picture, It Will Last Longer" Little did I realize... Yes, yes, they do last longer.

From window sill to shelf ... and hubby wanted to toss this to the curb.Someone, years and years ago put alot of time and effort into building this sill from scratch. It is all solid wood, with lots of paints, that was chipping ( I love the chipped paint look) nothing a few coats of polyurethane couldn't cover. I knew, from the moment I laid eyes on her, that I could make something from this.

I love this, I mostly love all the pictures on this wall and shelf. It brings back loads of memories, each time I look at it. Our two most beautiful girls in all the world, and all our grandkids...

The picture frames I have been collecting from the Salvation Army, and Good Will shopping trips. Some of them I had to paint, some are their original color.

Lots of times when it is to rainy and chilly outside, I will take some "Me Time" and dream up projects such as this...

Have a wonderful night,

Mel
