Wow, I can hardly believe, I wrote that many posts!
I'm celebrating today by giving you all a present I found on Arm & Hammers website. ( I once again, changed it a tad)
It is truely a budget saver, and works great!
Powdered Laundry Detergent
1 Cup grated Ivory soap
1/2 Cup Arm & Hammer washing soda (not baking soda)
this can be found in the laundry soap isle
1/2 Cup Borax
Mix and store in an airtight container. Small loads use 1 TBLS. Medium loads use 2 TBLS. Large loads 3 TBLS.
To make a large load for those of you who do lots of laundry you may want to use this method.
5 Cups of grated Ivory soap
3 Cups Arm & Hammer washing soda
3 cups Borax
I have said this before & will say this again; "We The People" need to work together, reach out and help thy neighbor/s in any way we can. With the rising prices at the grocery store, I'm looking for ways to put a little cash aside, this laundry detergent is really just one way to "save more spend less" as Clark Howard would put it! Also, I clip coupons, and watch for sales, sometimes, with a coupon, an item ends up costing cents rather than dollars.
Happy Laundry Day from our house to yours!

Congrats on your 100th post! I started to make my own liquid laundry detergent....it comes out to only .03 cents a load....almost the same ingredients too!
Have a great weekend!
Congratulations on your 100th post. I've so enjoyed your blog and I'm happy it was one I found. I'm going to try making this soap, I've never seen this recipe before. I have others and haven't been able to find the ingredients. These I know I can.
