I just couldn't wait until tomorrow~

Now, I know, I already posted earlier however, after spending several hours blog surfing today, I found a recipe for Banana Bread made with cream cheese. I'm sorry, but, I did so much surfing, I cannot recall where I found this mouth watering recipe. My passion for cooking sent me to my kitchen, pulling out drawers in search of the 3 bars of cream cheese I just bought last week. (I found the last one) ha ha

Goody~ Goody, now I can mix this all up and eat some after dinner.

I'm almost certain, I've told you I like to change the recipes I find (just a tad) to make them into something of my own. This one is actually a low cholesterol recipe if you make it using the smart start & egg whites. Cannot have just one piece, try it and see for yourselves....

Banana Bread with Cream Cheese

3/4 cup of Smart Start or butter 1 cup walnuts (chopped)
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 egg whites 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt
3 to 4 rippened bananas

Grease two bread pans; preheat oven to 350*F

Place flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt in a medium sized bowl; set aside for later. In a large mixing bowl, add cream cheese (softened) and smart start/butter & sugar mix until smooth. Then add egg whites and vanilla to the bowl and stir just until blended. Now, add dry ingredients to the mix and stir slightly until it is moist; next add whole bananas and walnuts chop bananas slightly with your spoon then fold into the mixture once this is done, pour into grease bread pans and bake for 50-60 minutes.

Hey Cuz, I've gotten everything to make this yum-a-lisous bread just waiting for the banana's to ripen up.

I can't wait to see your blue jean quilt hope you get some more jeans soon. You will have to tell the girls when they or the kids outgrow them to send them your way. I started getting things ready for a scrap pillow quilt today. I bought several 4 x 4 squares a couple years ago off of ebay and pulled them out today to see what I could do with them. What I've come up with this first one, well if it turns out good, will be for Kaylee. Hmmm...why do the grandkids always get the first of everything? lol I know once the kids find out that I'm making another gift for a grandchild it will bend their nose's a bit.

The letter game was fun it sure made you think. I know some might think it odd that I put the word sorrow for a word that I love but it's what is meant by the word. You have to feel love in order to feel sorrow. So I am going to give you the letter hmmm... let's see didn't you say you wanted either u, v, w, x, or z? Okay just kidding! Your letter is going to be.... C.

Love Ya Cuz :)
