Those Who Believe~ Receive Comfort

Thank you, all so much for the time you spent praying for Mom. After I sent my last post, things turned around for the worst.

We realize, however, her struggles over the last few years, and know she is in a much better place now. Mom is not only with our Lord, but with her oldest son, and when our time comes, we will meet again.

In our Catholic faith, we learn there are no coincidences, thing happen for a reason.

As we traveled on that long journey, our hearts bleeding from the lose of someone we all loved dearly. Hubby and I, talking away, discussing the fact that although, we are sad to let our mother go, my hubbies oldest brother (who passed away in the early 90's) will be so happy to be reunited with his mother.

Three hours or so into our trip (with another 11 hours to go) we are traveling through an area of road with huge rock ledges, bordering the right sides of the highway, on a rock that is located nearly at eye level, we both (simultaneously) see a rock with a message. "Hi Willie!"

We are both thrilled as we asked each other; "did you see that" Now we know, "for sure" she is safe and she is home...

Blessings to all of you,
Mel & Family

I will be praying for you and your husband and family... and it is wonderul to have that peace that she is in a better place where she will never suffer again.

Dear Mel - I'm just checking in and catching up a bit. It's been a while since I've been by to visit and I'm so sorry you lost your mother. Although she's not really lost, is she? You know where she is! Someone told me that after my dear father went to be with Jesus. Praying for comfort and time spent with many good memories - and anticipation of being reunited again some day!
