Speechless

My cousin, Vicky, called me today, she already knows what I got for Christmas. I'm literally speechless folks, I know I couldn't have been that good all year to receive such a wonderful gift. My sewing skills are that of a fifth grader, you know the only thing I have sewn since my middle school days was the aprons for our daughters. Did my hubby really like them, I guess he did, look for yourselves. This is exactly why I'm speechless...

Can you believe it, a Viking Saphire, this is one incredible peace of machinery, where do I start? It is all digital, the stitch patterns, tension, needle threader, everything is automatic once you chose your stitch. Hubby is a bargainer, he talked the saleperson into throwing in a set of scissors (gold trim no less) and a vacumm accessory package (which is necessary to clean this baby) for free, all for me... And on top of all this (as if this isn't enough) free lessons on how to become familiar with your Viking (God, only knows, I'm gonna need these lessons) and how to download stuff from your computer into the sewing machine (my head is a spinnin, let me tell ya).

This is my old machine, the one I had hidden away for "years." She was easy to figure out, no lessons needed. Not to many bells and whistles, just a real simple machine (just like me, simple!)
Hubby, I owe you big time, I love you tons!

Why hello you guys,

Thanks for coming by and commenting on my new gift.I'm still in shock, I asked for a sewing machine, but never in my wildest dreams expected something of this magnitude. I guess, the pressures on, huh? Well, I have Faith that I will one day become familiar with her and be able to quilt (that is a dream of mine) I have always wanted to join a quilters guild, well, If I can find one in our area, nows the time to jump on it...
Happy New Year my friends,
